# About Moonshot

Moonshot is a proactive personal agent for iPhone. It is built to notice the shape of a day, remember the people and commitments that matter, and surface a useful next step at the moment it becomes relevant. The product aims to reduce the time people spend opening apps, searching through context, and repeatedly explaining their lives to software.

The experience begins with on-device listening and transcription. Moonshot can use recent transcript text, contacts, calendar context, and the personal profile it builds with the user's permission to understand a moment. It can then prepare reminders, summaries, or other timely help. Microphone audio stays on the iPhone. The Privacy page documents which text and context can leave the device, which records are mirrored, and how deletion works.

## Why Moonshot exists

Most digital assistants wait for a command and forget the surrounding life. Moonshot is exploring a calmer model: software that carries context forward, knows when a moment is useful, and stays quiet when it is not. The name on the web is Moonshot Computer, and the canonical home is moonshot.computer.

Moonshot is an early product from a small team based in Seattle, Washington. Access is limited while the team tests the product and its privacy boundaries with a small group. The homepage waitlist is the current path to future access. Product, press, partnership, and data questions can be sent through the Contact page.
