People on reservation calls often ask whether the dollar is a discount, a deposit, or the whole product. It is none of those.
What the $1 does
The $1 is a refundable reservation. It holds your place for Luna, includes the starlight box and six months of Samantha when you follow through, and comes back if you reply to your receipt — any day, any reason.
What Kickstarter is for
Luna’s full pledge is on Kickstarter at about $499 when the campaign opens. Shipping is expected in spring 2027. The reservation is how we know who wants one before that pledge page exists.
What you are not buying today
You are not buying a shipped pendant for a dollar. You are not locked into Kickstarter. You can walk away and take the dollar back.
Why we ask for a card at all
A free waitlist fills with curiosity. A refundable dollar is a light filter so we can text real people when Kickstarter opens, and so founders can answer questions from people who actually intend to reserve.
The short version for a call
$1 now, refundable. Kickstarter later at about $499. Starlight box and six months of Samantha with the reservation path. Ship spring 2027. Reserve here if that is what you meant to do.
